February 23,2015:  The Honda Classic is underway and we look forward to seeing you in PGA National as we celebrate the success of our local and visiting golf professionals.  This is a kid friendly event.

May 2014-The fight to prevent the "flyover" at the intersection of Northlake Blvd. and the Beeline continues.  At this point, the Palm Beach Post reports that the proposed flyover to accommodate future increased traffic is still being studied.  PGA National folks are against the raised highway that could negatively affect property values on the South West side of the neighborhood. Check back for updates on this hot topic! 

 

December 2013:  Junior Pee Wee Pop Warner AND Junior Midget Cheerleaders make it to Nationals!  Placing 2nd in local competition and finishing strong at 2nd out of 14 teams in the Regional competition secures the Palm Beach Garden's Gator Junior Pee Wee team a spot at the National Competition at Walt Disney World mid-December.  This girl's team has 3 "return" members and competes as a Level 1 medium group this year with some impressive stunts that helped them gain the points necessary to move on to the "big competition". November 2013:  Palm Beach Gardens Pop Warner Pee Wee Football sweeps the Division and finishes the season 11-1.  Four playoff games beyond the Division Championship,the Pee Wee Team players plan to come back strong as they move up into Junior Midget next year.  These boys have played together in Palm Beach Gardens for 6-7 years with a few newcomers.  Stay tuned for another strong year in 2014!

 

October 2013:  October Fall/Autum Events in Palm Beach Gardens

Here are just a few of the great places in Palm Beach Gardens to take kids of all ages from now until October 31:

The Pumpkin Patch:  A yearly tradition at Trinity Methodist Church and School just off of Military Trail.  North of Northlake and South of Holly Drive.  Schools groups have been bringing busloads of kids in each school day and if you want to browse through the rows and rows of pumpkins without so much chaos, go later in the day.  Pumpkins range from $1 cuties to huge pumpkins running $30.  Bring a camera.  There is indoor story time at select times.  There are a few places for great pictures:  the bench under the big shade tree and there is a picture spot available near check out in a "fall" setting.

Family Fall Festival October 31,2013:  Kids wear non-scary costumes and will still load up on candy at Christ Fellowship Church.  Your kids and grandkids will beg to come back to.  Every event here is absolutely amazing always.  5:30-8:30. Food can be purchased/cash.  Directions:  I-95 to Northlake Blvd. West of Military Trail and just East of the Turnpike.

Palm Beach Gardens:  Also known as "The Gardens", this upscale area boasts of top notch golf courses, A-Rated schools, restaurants of all price ranges, tennis, croquet,art,and community events like the "Green Market".  Palm Beach Gardens also has a community center used by all ages, an abundance of parks and playgrounds, ball fields and let's not forget world-class shopping at The Gardens Mall. Legacy Place and Downtown at the Gardens are "newer" additions to this thriving community enjoyed by year-round residents and snowbirds from the Northeast,Midwest and Canada.
